Terms of Service

1. The Service

InterviewSeason ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-powered job application tracking platform at interviewseason.com, including a web application and a Chrome browser extension (Manifest V3). The service enables job seekers to capture, organise, and analyse job applications sourced from LinkedIn, Indeed, and Naukri, and — for Premium subscribers — to parse job-related emails from Gmail using AI.

These Terms apply to all users worldwide, with additional jurisdiction-specific provisions for users in India, the United States, Canada, and Australia where noted.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use InterviewSeason
• By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement
• If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will terminate the account without notice
• You may not use InterviewSeason if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law

3. Account Registration & Security

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account
• Authentication is managed via Supabase; you must comply with Supabase's applicable policies as your identity provider
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• You may not share your account or credentials with others

4. Free & Premium Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan is available at no cost and includes:

• Job click tracking (LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri): unlimited
• Job applications: up to 40 (lifetime)
• Resume uploads: 1 resume total, 1 upload per rolling 7-day window
• Gmail email parsing: not available
• Analytics dashboard: not available
• ATS Resume Scan: not available
• AI Resume Text Enhancement: not available
• Resume–Job Description Match: not available
• Career card exports: 2 per day

4.2 Premium Plan

Premium unlocks:

• Unlimited job applications
• Up to 10 resume uploads; 3 uploads per rolling 7-day window
• Gmail email parsing: 5 emails per day (burst: 2 per hour)
• Analytics dashboard: full access
• ATS Resume Scan: 10 per day (burst: 3 per minute)
• AI Resume Text Enhancement: 20 per day (burst: 5 per minute)
• Resume–Job Description Match: 5 per day
• Career card exports: 20 per day

4.3 Premium Pricing

Prices displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and Canadian Dollars (CAD) on the pricing page reflect current exchange rate conversions. The legally binding price is the amount shown at checkout at the time of purchase.

4.4 Auto-Renewal

The monthly Premium plan is a recurring subscription that automatically renews each month unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method on file for the applicable renewal amount. We will send a reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal. The 3-Month and 6-Month Packs are one-time purchases: they are billed once, do not auto-renew, and simply expire at the end of their term with no further charge.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel the monthly subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until that date. The one-time 3- and 6-Month Packs do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel — Premium access remains active for the full purchased term. For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.

4.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current monthly billing period or any one-time pack already purchased; for the monthly subscription they take effect at the next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use InterviewSeason for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform beyond your own account data
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or its data
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the service
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network associated with InterviewSeason
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use InterviewSeason to store, transmit, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or discriminatory
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice or refund.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to InterviewSeason, including your resumes, job application notes, interview records, offer details, and career cards ("Your Content"). You grant InterviewSeason a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the service to you.

This licence terminates when you delete the relevant content or close your account. We will not use Your Content to train AI models or share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

6.2 InterviewSeason's Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, logos, documentation, and other content comprising the InterviewSeason platform (excluding Your Content) are the intellectual property of InterviewSeason or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes. No other rights are granted.

7. Third-Party Services & Extension Permissions

The InterviewSeason Chrome extension accesses LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, and Gmail (Premium only) to capture job data on your behalf. Your use of these third-party platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. InterviewSeason is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, or Google.

Gmail access via the extension requires you to grant explicit OAuth permissions through your Google account. You may revoke these permissions at any time from your Google Account settings, which will deactivate Gmail parsing.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Warranty

InterviewSeason is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8.2 AI Accuracy

AI-generated outputs (resume matches, ATS scores, email parsing, text enhancements) are provided for informational purposes only. They may contain errors. InterviewSeason makes no representation that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. Always review AI-generated content before acting on it.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InterviewSeason and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or the cost of substitute services.

In any case, InterviewSeason's total cumulative liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to InterviewSeason in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InterviewSeason and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third party's rights; (c) Your Content; or (d) your use of the service in any way not authorised by these Terms.

10. Account Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closure permanently deletes all your data within 30 days. Export your data before closing.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, engage in illegal activity using the service, or if we are required to do so by law. In cases of suspected fraud or immediate security risk, we may suspend access immediately.

Upon termination, your right to use InterviewSeason ceases immediately. Sections 6.2, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

11.1 General

These Terms are governed by applicable law. For users in India, Indian law applies. For users in Canada, the laws of the province in which you reside apply. For users in Australia, the laws of New South Wales, Australia apply. For users in the United States and all other jurisdictions, the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, apply (without regard to conflict of law provisions).

11.2 Informal Resolution First

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.

11.3 Consumer Rights — India

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (India), including your right to seek redressal before the appropriate consumer forum.

11.4 Consumer Rights — Australia

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your subscription and receive a refund for the unused portion. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

11.5 Consumer Rights — Canada

These Terms do not limit any consumer protections available under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act 2002 (Ontario), the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia), or equivalent legislation in your province.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' advance notice via email or an in-app banner. Your continued use of InterviewSeason after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and may close your account.

13. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InterviewSeason regarding the service
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction
• Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
